Glasgow, Scotland, UK. 6th December 2021. New sculpture erected in Glasgow as a reminder of Glasgow’s role as host of the COP26 climate summit held this year. The 23 metre high Hope Sculpture by artist Steuart Padwick is sited beside the River Clyde in Cuningar Loop in Rutherglen and is designed to inspire a feeling of optimism towards the challenges that lie ahead in facing up to climate change.
