Restoration protection work at Hill House, Helensburgh, UK

Construction is underway of a steel "box" structure to enclose Hill House and assist the drying-out of the building exterior fabric. Currently the walls are saturated and damaged by rainwater. The box consists of a protective steel frame structure covered in chainmail mesh, featuring walkways around and over the top of the house. Hill House was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
