To celebrate their 2020/2021 season launch, Scottish Ballet collaborated with artist Alan McGowan to create a specially commissioned visual art projection that was unveiled in Edinburgh tonight. Scottish Ballet are performing three ballets this Christmas; Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and The Scandal at Mayerling. The projection features a time-lapse film of the artist painting the 2020 campaign imagery for three paintings; one for each ballet and was projected onto the University of Edinburgh’s McEwan Hall.
