The historic City Observatory on Calton Hill will reopen as The Collective, an arts organisation and will feature the restored City Observatory, City Dome, and a purpose-built exhibition space. It opens to the public on 24 November, 2018. Pictured; Art work by Klaus Weber titled, Fagman, in the Hillside space. Conceived as a "Nonument" to sit at a corner of the Collective, the smoking snowman sculpture with bottle top hat is an antihero countering the historic monuments at Calton Hill. ++ Editorial Use Only ++
